About our insulation contractor crew in Clarksville

How I got into attics
I spent every summer through school on an insulation crew, so I was crawling attics before I could drive myself to them. I started this business in Clarksville in 2017, and we've been doing insulation work in Clarksville and the cities around it ever since, on both sides of the Tennessee and Kentucky line.
Most people call about a drafty room, a power bill that keeps climbing or an older house where nobody's touched the attic in years. Some are business owners with metal buildings. An attic never complains, it just sends the bill. I care most about the part of the job nobody looks at again, over the ceiling and under the floor, so safety and moisture get settled before anything new goes in. We're licensed and fully insured, and if your upstairs is hot or your floors are cold, get in touch or call (931) 272-0044.

Insulation work, up close
What working with us looks like
We look before we quote
We check what's really in your attic, walls or crawl space, including how many inches are already up there and what shape it's in. That way the plan fits your house and isn't a guess.
Gaps get sealed before new insulation
We start with air sealing, which means closing the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch, because insulation can't do much with a draft blowing through it. Otherwise you're paying for a thicker blanket with holes in it.
The same person from look to finish
I usually come out to look at the job myself, and our crew does the install with me involved the whole way. What we talked about in your driveway is what gets done.
We tell you when it isn't ours
If we find old vermiculite, a pebbly loose fill some older attics have, or wiring that worries us, we tell you straight and point you to the right people. We'd rather stop and say so than bury a problem under new insulation.
What you'll notice about how we do the job
Permits checked
We find out whether your address falls under the city or the county and what that office wants, and we handle the permit for our part when one's needed.
Venting first
Before we tighten the house, we make sure your furnace and water heater can still vent right, because sealing gaps changes how air moves through your house.
Moisture settled
If the framing is damp or old insulation is wet or full of droppings, we deal with that first, since new material laid over the problem just hides it.
Edges covered
We keep the eave vents clear so the attic can breathe, and we carry full depth out to the edges instead of piling it up in the middle.
Clean exit
We cover the path from your door to the attic or crawl space and clean up before we leave, so you're not finding fluff in the hallway next week.
