Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Essential Clarksville Insulation Company to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job with us, you agree to them.

If a written estimate, contract or work order we give you says something different from these terms, the signed document controls for that job. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site. You can still contact us with questions first.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Clarksville, TN. We insulate attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements, remove old insulation, air seal, which means closing gaps before insulating, install spray foam and vapor barriers, and take on some commercial work. You can read more about us on our About page and see our services from the home page.

What appears on this website is general information, not advice for your particular house. We decide what your job needs only after we've seen it in person, and the scope we agree to in writing is what we'll do.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free and done on-site, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, along with the material and scope you choose.

Some conditions only show up once the work starts, such as wet or damaged insulation, droppings, hidden framing problems or areas we couldn't get into. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, explain it to you and get your approval before we do the added work. We won't bill you for extra work you didn't approve.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, we may update the price to reflect current material and labor costs.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, illness and earlier jobs running long can push dates back, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and reschedule with you.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear a path to the attic hatch, crawl space or rooms we're working in. You also agree to follow the instructions we give you about when people and pets can come back into the house after foam or other products go in. If we arrive and can't get in or can't safely work, we may need to reschedule.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call (931) 272-0044 or reach us through the contact page as early as you can. If we've already ordered special material or started the work, your contract may say what you owe for costs we've already taken on.

Payment

Payment amounts, due dates and accepted methods are written on your estimate or contract. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause unfinished work until it's paid. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an overdue balance, to the extent Tennessee law allows.

Warranties and what they don't cover

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work. If something isn't right with what we installed, call us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written warranty for your job, along with its length and limits, will be in your contract, and product warranties come from the maker of that product.

Apart from those written warranties, our work and this website are provided as they are, with no other promises, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. Comfort and power bills depend on things we don't control, such as your heating and cooling system, how you set the thermostat, the weather and the rest of the house, so we can't promise a specific temperature or savings.

Our warranty doesn't cover damage caused by later roof or plumbing leaks, pests, storms, other contractors' work, changes you make, or areas we weren't hired to work on.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Tennessee law allows, Essential Clarksville Insulation Company isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room, lost income or higher utility costs. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that can't legally be limited, including our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Using this website

We try to keep this site accurate and current, but things like services, hours and general information can change. The site may also link to other websites, and we're not responsible for what's on them.

The text, photos and design on this site belong to Essential Clarksville Insulation Company. You may view and share pages for your own use, but please don't copy them for commercial use without our permission.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with something, please call us first at (931) 272-0044 or write to us through the contact page. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're standing in the attic together, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't resolve it informally within a reasonable time, either of us may pursue the claim in a court of proper jurisdiction in Montgomery County, Tennessee, or in small claims court where the amount qualifies.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. That still applies when the job is in a neighboring state, unless that state's law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the current one. Changes don't apply to a job already covered by a signed contract unless we both agree in writing.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions about these terms can go to us through the contact page.
